President Trump announces suspension of $4 billion in annual military aid to Israel by end of year
Translated by Qiyas from الوسط — Original source
US President Donald Trump said that his country would cease providing aid to Israel by the end of this year, referring to an agreement reached with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and noting that Tel Aviv would retain the option to purchase US weapons it desires. Trump’s remarks came yesterday in tandem with the US midterm elections, as he affirmed that he and Netanyahu had agreed months ago to halt aid amounting to approximately $4 billion annually, and that the United States would not pay Israel by the end of this year.
