“Qyas” is a news index and search engine — like global news aggregators — showing headlines and limited excerpts with clear attribution and a link back to the source. Qyas claims no ownership of any news content.

1) Ownership of content

All news, headlines, images and trademarks shown belong to their original publishers (KUNA (Kuwait News Agency), Al-Anba, Al-Qabas, Al-Jarida, Al-Rai, Al-Nahar, Al-Seyassah, Sarmad, Al-Wasat, and Kuwait News) or rights holders. Qyas only indexes, attributes and links; displaying an excerpt is not a waiver of any right of the owner.

2) Basis: attribution, limited excerpts, linking

We show only a headline and a short excerpt (never the full text), together with the source name and a direct link to its page for the full story. This is limited, referral-oriented news use, consistent with international news-aggregation norms and the principles of fair use / fair dealing and the Berne Convention.

3) What we own

Qyas’s rights are limited to: the software, the compilation/indexing and the database as a whole, the automated translations and AI-generated summaries (labelled as such), and the interface design. None of this includes ownership of the original texts.

4) Notice & Takedown

If you are a rights holder and believe content should be amended or removed, send us a notice at info@alqyas.com titled “Copyright Notice” including:

• identification of the protected work and its URL on Qyas;
• proof of your ownership or authority to act;
• your contact details.

We typically respond within 7 business days (often sooner) and may remove or restrict the content upon verification.

5) Full source opt-out

Any news source may request full exclusion of its content from the index, and we will comply upon verifying the request.
