The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Sunday the execution of 753 precise and direct targeting operations against the military capabilities of the Houthi militia over the past 24 hours, as part of the "Fajr al-Yemen" (Dawn of Yemen) operation, confirming the neutralization of around 218 militia members and its field commanders.
Colonel Majid al-Nazili, official spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, stated in a press release that the operations resulted in the destruction or damage of 78 military vehicles, equipment, and heavy and medium-caliber weapons.
He clarified that the targeting included advanced field command and control centers, fortifications, firing positions, and concentrations and reinforcements, in addition to the militia’s mobility and supply means.
Al-Nazili added that the operations contributed to disrupting the deployment of militia forces into battle and supported raid, assault, and maneuver operations by the Armed Forces across various fronts.
He reaffirmed the Yemeni Armed Forces’ continued development of their offensive and targeting of the militia’s capabilities to mobilize and reorganize, emphasizing that operations were confined to legitimate military targets and that necessary precautions were taken to protect civilians and civilian property.
