The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Wednesday that they carried out 835 precise strike operations against Houthi militia capabilities over the past 24 hours, as part of the "Yemen Dawn" operation, utilizing combat aircraft, drones, artillery, rocket launchers, and sniper units.
Spokesperson for the Armed Forces, Colonel Majid Al-Nazili, stated in a press release that the operations resulted in the neutralization of approximately 285 Houthi militia personnel and commanders, and the destruction or damage of around 190 military vehicles, armored vehicles, drones, and other military equipment.
He added that the strikes targeted militia movements, gatherings, reinforcements, weapons, armored vehicles, firing positions, fortifications, transportation, and supply lines.
He noted that Armed Forces units in Taiz Governorate, supported by popular resistance, repelled new reinforcements and attacks launched by the Houthi militias in an attempt to regain their positions, thereby thwarting their objectives.
In Marib Governorate, armored, artillery, and drone units continued to target militia movements, fortifications, and armed crews on the northern, eastern, and western fronts, aiming to limit their maneuverability and ability to mobilize forces across various axes.
Al-Nazili affirmed that the Armed Forces continue to carry out their missions according to the operational plan, emphasizing that the strikes targeted legitimate military objectives after verification and the implementation of necessary precautions to protect civilians and civilian property.
