Washington, July 18 (KUNA) -- The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced on Saturday the killing of two American soldiers in Jordan and the disappearance of a third while responding to Iranian attacks. CENTCOM stated in a press release that "two members of the U.S. Armed Forces were killed in Jordan while carrying out their duties during the response to and alongside partner forces to attacks launched by Iran using ballistic missiles and drones." The statement added that one U.S. service member remains missing, while four American soldiers were treated in Jordanian hospitals for minor injuries and were later discharged to return to their duties.
