The Islamic Heritage Revival Association is launching, today Friday, as part of its projects for this winter season, a relief campaign under the slogan “Winter Warmth and a Loaf of Bread,” aimed at assisting Syrian refugee families in Turkey whose homes were destroyed by war and who have been unable to return to their country. Through this project, the association will provide essential winter needs, including heating materials, winter clothing, food baskets, and financial aid. Donations to this project are eligible for zakat.
The association has called on all members of the Kuwaiti public who are able to contribute to this campaign to contact the campaign management via the dedicated phone numbers. It is worth noting that the Islamic Heritage Revival Association has previously launched several relief campaigns for poor, needy, and affected Syrians, most notably its annual “Winter Warmth and a Loaf of Bread” campaign, which aims to alleviate their suffering by focusing on providing heating devices, blankets, clothing, food baskets, bread, and other essential supplies. This is achieved by establishing several bakeries in certain Syrian areas and refugee camps, as well as covering the necessary flour and operational costs for these bakeries.
This campaign is part of a broader set of charitable and developmental projects launched by the Islamic Heritage Revival Association both within Kuwait and around the world, striving to encourage and compete among generous donors in doing good.
