'Food Authority': 16 Violations During Inspection Round in Hawalli; 35 kg of Chicken Destroyed in Farwaniya

The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition announced the issuance of 16 violation reports, along with a number of commitments, during an inspection campaign carried out in Hawalli Governorate to detect various violations related to licenses and health requirements. The Authority stated in a press release that the campaign is part of its efforts to strengthen food supervision and protect consumer health.

On another front, the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition announced the issuance of 17 violation reports and the destruction of 35 kilograms of chicken during an inspection campaign in Farwaniya Governorate, as part of its efforts to enhance oversight of food establishments. The Authority clarified in a statement yesterday that the violations included non-compliance with health requirements and general hygiene standards, thawing and selling frozen meat and poultry as fresh, and employing workers without health certificates. The Authority affirmed its continued inspection and supervisory campaigns to safeguard consumer health and safety.
