The official spokesperson for the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen, Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, affirmed the continued deliberate and systematic attacks by the Houthi terrorist militia on civilians and civilian objects in Yemen and the Kingdom, and confirmed the ongoing exploitation of vital resources to support its war effort and enhance its military capabilities, particularly ballistic missiles and drones. This underscores the militia’s terrorist and brutal methodology in leveraging vital resources to serve its hostile activities.
Brigadier General Al-Maliki explained that, in response to the continuation of these attacks—which pose a direct threat to civilian lives and the safety of civilian infrastructure—the Joint Forces Command of the Coalition carried out a targeted military operation yesterday morning to eliminate the vital resources used by the Houthi terrorist militia to carry out its repeated and brutal attacks, as well as to neutralize threats to the security of the Kingdom and Yemen and to maritime navigation routes in the southern Red Sea.
Al-Maliki reaffirmed that the Joint Forces Command of the Coalition will continue to take and implement the necessary operational measures to deter the Houthi terrorist militia’s behavior and halt the use of vital resources to support its war effort. He stressed that the militia must cease all hostile and brutal operations against civilians and civilian objects; otherwise, the Houthi terrorist militia will bear the consequences of its hostile actions.
