Iran’s Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, warned the United States yesterday against launching new attacks and issued directives to respond to American threats without geographical restrictions. During a meeting with senior military commanders, Khamenei ordered that every level and type of threat be met with an immediate and effective response, free from geographical constraints, and called on the armed forces to update their target list to include all American and Israeli material and non-material assets. For his part, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that the American side’s attempt to open a door for dialogue and understanding was a positive step, confirming that an Iranian delegation had traveled to the Qatari capital, Doha, as part of the negotiations. He clarified that Tehran does not rule out any possibility of war breaking out and remains prepared for all scenarios.
