State Minister for Municipal Affairs and State Minister for Housing, Engineer Abdul Latif Al-Mutairi, emphasized the necessity of adhering to the approved timeline, specifications, and technical standards in the South Saad Al-Abdullah housing project, ensuring that works are carried out according to established plans and housing targets are met.
In a press statement on Thursday, following a field visit to the project accompanied by the Acting Director General of the Public Authority for Housing Welfare, Engineer Rashid Al-Anzi, Al-Mutairi stated that the visit was part of efforts to monitor progress and assess recent developments in the implementation of various components of the project.
The Public Authority for Housing Welfare said in a statement that the visit included reviewing ongoing works under contracts for the implementation of infrastructure for residential plots, buildings, and public services, as well as hearing briefings from officials and supervising engineers on implementation progress and completion percentages across different project components.
It clarified that completion rates are proceeding according to the scheduled timeline for field works, reflecting advancement in implementation in line with approved plans.
The Authority added that the Housing Minister had directed intensifying field monitoring of the project and enhancing coordination among relevant authorities, contractors, and consultants, to help address challenges that may hinder progress and accelerate the completion of infrastructure and service works, in accordance with approved schedules and plans.
