Sheikh Talal Fakher, Assistant General Manager of Resources at Al-Najah Charity Association, announced the launch of the “Water Provision” project tomorrow, Friday, aiming to deliver fresh water to 150,000 impoverished, needy, displaced, and refugee individuals, as part of the association’s efforts to provide one of the most essential elements of a decent life.

Sheikh Talal Fakher explained that the project includes drilling wells in Africa and Yemen, distributing water containers to those affected in the Gaza Strip, and connecting water points to the homes of deserving families in Egypt. He emphasized that the project combines emergency relief with sustainable solutions to ensure access to clean water.

He added that the project’s impact extends beyond providing drinking water to protecting beneficiaries from waterborne diseases, supporting agriculture and livestock, and alleviating the hardships families face in accessing water. He noted that providing water contributes to community stability and improves health and living conditions.

Sheikh Talal Fakher called on philanthropists and benefactors in Kuwait to contribute to the project, even with a single dinar, out of a sense of the immense reward associated with providing water, citing the Prophet’s saying: “The best charity is providing water.”

The Assistant General Manager of Resources at Al-Najah Charity Association, Talal Fakher, expressed his gratitude to the Ministries of Social Affairs and Foreign Affairs for their cooperation in supporting charitable work and facilitating the implementation of humanitarian projects.
