The Kuwait International Exhibition for Land and Sea Equipment and Outdoor and Sports Activities kicked off with the participation and attendance of ambassadors, as well as economic and business leaders. The first day saw strong attendance, reflecting Kuwaiti consumers’ interest in tracking opportunities and taking advantage of the offers presented at trade exhibitions.
Speaking on the sidelines, Wahi Al-Wahidi, Chairman of the Board of Directors at UC S Group, which organizes the exhibitions, said the company has been operating in the Kuwaiti market since 2016, with the aim of boosting tourism and promoting domestic and international marketing. He noted that the exhibition provides all land and sea-related requirements and equipment.
Al-Wahidi added that such exhibitions significantly stimulate domestic tourism, emphasizing that the event is important because it brings together local and international companies specializing in land and sea products under one roof, making it easier for product seekers to find what they need. He mentioned that participation has grown this year, reaching 100 companies, with new categories added, including firms specializing in safari vehicle equipment, yacht and trip preparation, and other supporting sectors for enthusiasts in this field.
Commenting on the diversity showcased at the exhibition, Al-Wahidi said it stems from their commitment to providing most of what trip and adventure enthusiasts desire, ensuring all their needs are met. He also expressed plans to expand participation in the future, expressing his satisfaction with the good turnout of diplomats, leaders, and businessmen at the opening ceremony.
Abdul Fattah Samara, CEO of UC S Group, clarified that the exhibition is committed to continuous development and updating for participants, contributing to diversifying the available activities and sectors that reflect the core focus of the exhibition since its first edition: marine and land equipment, fishing gear, and entertainment and adventure fields. He explained that the exhibition aligns with broader efforts to revitalize the tourism market while meeting consumers’ needs in adventure and leisure.
Samara hinted that supporting marketing activities in Kuwait supports the strategy aimed at boosting tourism and entertainment in the country. He noted that recent developments in Kuwait’s domestic tourism require more activities to support the shopping, entertainment, and tourism sectors, including organizing specialized trade exhibitions and marketing events.
Samara thanked the diplomats, ambassadors, and assistants who participated in the exhibition opening, wishing everyone success and hoping that exhibition visitors achieve their marketing goals.
