Yesterday, the Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and the Minister of State for Housing, Engineer Abdul Latif Hamed Al-Mutairi, inspected the South Sabah Al-Ahmed project, accompanied by the Acting Director General of the Public Authority for Housing Welfare, Engineer Rashid Al-Anzi.
In a press statement, the Authority said the tour included reviewing the progress of on-site works under contracts for preparing the infrastructure of residential plots, buildings, and public services, and listening to briefings from the responsible officials and supervising engineers on the latest developments in implementation and completion rates.
It added that Al-Mutairi stressed the need to accelerate work pace in accordance with approved plans, while adhering to technical specifications and standards. He emphasized the importance of field follow-up and coordination among relevant authorities, contractors, and consultants to address challenges, ensure the completion of infrastructure and service works, and achieve the project’s housing objectives.
