Tenders Authority Rejects Awarding Sabah Al-Ahmed Colleges Project to Fifth Lowest Bidder

The Board of Directors of the Central Tenders Committee rejected the recommendation of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training to award the contract for the construction, completion, operation, and maintenance of the branches of the College of Technological and Commercial Studies in the Sabah Al-Ahmed area to Metallurgical Corporation of China Ltd., with a total value of 104.8 million dinars, despite it being the fifth-lowest bidder. According to the official gazette, Kuwait Today, the Board’s decision followed hearing the representative of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training, as part of a re-examination of the request to award the tender.
