Defense Minister departs for Washington on an official visit

There have been numerous Iranian and American statements regarding the escalating crisis between them, which has ignited our region, affected it, and rippled across the globe. Daily, declarations emerge from various quarters asserting that the other party is responsible for the crisis’s continuation. While Tehran points to its readiness to negotiate and engage in dialogue, we find the Iranian regime continuing to support the Houthis in targeting Saudi Arabia, fueling conflict and instability in the region. On the other side, Trump has repeatedly affirmed, on multiple occasions, that he will not allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons and that there is no one to negotiate with in Tehran, while secret talks are being held, whether in the Sultanate of Oman, Doha, or perhaps Pakistan. “I hear your words, I believe you; I see your affairs, I am astonished.”
