Kuwait University announced yesterday the opening of registration for local researchers to participate in the Ninth International Conference on Energy Research and Development, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Salim Al-Sabah, Prime Minister, from November 17 to 19 next year.
In a statement, the university clarified that registration remains open until November 17 next year via the barcode indicated in the university’s announcement. It noted that the conference will take place at the Conference Center in the Sabah Al-Salem City campus, with the participation of a select group of experts, specialists, and academics from within and outside Kuwait.
The university stated that the conference will discuss the future of renewable energy and its role in supporting sustainability, focusing on energy conservation, conversion, and forecasting the future of the energy sector. This will facilitate the exchange of scientific expertise, discuss recent research and technological developments, and enhance collaboration among researchers and specialists.
It emphasized that the conference reflects the university’s strategic orientation toward elevating the quality of scientific research, strengthening its distinguished presence in the international scientific community, and fostering innovation in the energy sector.
