Chief of the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Sharhan, held talks with Alexei Frolov, Deputy Director of the Russian Federal Agency for Military Cooperation, on ways to strengthen relations between Kuwait and Russia, as well as a number of issues and topics of mutual interest. The General Staff of the Armed Forces said in a statement on Thursday that Lieutenant General Al-Sharhan received the Russian military official and his accompanying delegation in his office, on the occasion of his visit to the country, during which the two sides exchanged friendly words and views on common issues and discussed ways to develop relations between the two friendly countries. The meeting was attended by the Russian Ambassador to Kuwait, Vladimir Giltov, and several senior commanding officers of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces.
