Faisal Al-Zamil, Chairman of the Board at Al-Najat Charity Association, announced the signing of a strategic partnership agreement with Kuwait Public Transport Company (KPTC) to provide a modern, equipped fleet of buses for transporting students across various residential areas in the State of Kuwait. This initiative aligns with Al-Najat Schools’ ongoing commitment to providing a safe and distinguished educational environment for its students. Al-Najat Schools currently enroll over 13,100 students across all educational stages, spread among 17 schools, and emphasize the motto “Dual Competencies and Skills.”

The agreement was signed by Engineer Mansour Al-Saad, Chief Executive Officer of KPTC, on behalf of the company, and by Faisal Al-Zamil, Chairman of the Board of Al-Najat Charity Association. The signing ceremony was attended by high-level leadership delegations from both parties. Representing KPTC were Deputy CEO Mohammed Al-Muzayid, Transport Director Mohammed Al-Fahid, Private Transport Department Manager Engineer Mohammed Al-Filakawi, and Private Transport Operations Engineer Jasem Al-Kandari. On behalf of Al-Najat Charity Association, attendees included Deputy Chairman Dr. Rashid Al-Hamad, Board Member Dr. Mohammed Al-Sharhan, Board Advisor Mohammed Al-Ansari, Association General Manager Dr. Jaber Al-Wandah, and Schools General Manager Dr. Salman Al-Lafi.

In a press statement, Al-Zamil said the agreement entails leasing a fleet of 32 modern buses, each with a capacity of 22 passengers, along with providing experienced and competent drivers for each bus. The contract commits to adhering to the highest standards of safety, sterilization, daily cleaning, and periodic maintenance.

He added that the agreement includes equipping all buses with GPS tracking systems to ensure route regularity and precise monitoring of operational movements, as well as installing internal surveillance cameras to enhance student safety and security during transit.

Al-Zamil noted that this step continues Al-Najat Schools’ series of achievements, recently highlighted by the provision of 60 training programs involving 270 teachers, covering diverse topics and specializations aimed at developing the teaching staff. Additionally, 100% of the school buildings have been covered with surveillance cameras, and classrooms have been equipped with interactive screens.

Both parties emphasized during the signing ceremony that providing safe and advanced transportation reflects a fruitful partnership between leading national institutions and educational entities in Kuwait, contributing to supporting the educational environment, facilitating student mobility, alleviating the burden on parents, and reducing traffic congestion.
