His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister, chaired a meeting today to discuss ways to strengthen supply and export chains, ensure the continuous flow of energy supplies and essential goods, and support the food security system. The meeting discussed measures and plans to maintain the smooth flow of supplies under all circumstances, and reviewed strategic options for diversifying transport and export routes, as well as developing alternative logistical solutions to enhance the resilience of supply chains and their capacity to cope with changes.
Attending the meeting were Minister of Public Works Dr. Noura Mohammed Al-Mashaan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jaraah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment and Acting Minister of Commerce and Industry Abdulaziz Nasser Al-Marzouq, and Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
Also in attendance were the Acting Head of the Prime Minister’s Diwan Sheikh Khaled Mohammed Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, the Chief Executive Officer of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation Sheikh Nawaf Saud Nasser Al-Sabah, and the Managing Director of the Public Authority for Investment Sheikh Saud Salem Abdulaziz Al-Sabah.
