Social Reform: Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia threaten regional stability

The Al-Isleh Social Association expressed its strong condemnation of the Houthi attacks targeting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, affirming its firm rejection of any aggression that undermines the Kingdom’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity, and endangers the lives of civilians and vital facilities.

The Association’s Secretary-General, Hamad Al-Ali, emphasized that targeting civilian infrastructure, particularly airports and civil aviation facilities, constitutes a serious escalation that threatens civilian safety and air navigation, with repercussions extending beyond the Kingdom’s security to affect the stability of the entire region.

Al-Ali stressed that endangering the lives of innocents, regardless of their nationality, is unacceptable both religiously and morally, and cannot be justified under any circumstances. He underscored the necessity of respecting the sovereignty of states and protecting civilians amid crises and conflicts.

He noted that the Association’s stance aligns with the consistent position of the State of Kuwait in condemning attacks targeting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, expressing full solidarity with the Kingdom and supporting all efforts aimed at safeguarding its security, stability, and the protection of its citizens and residents.

He clarified that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of the security of Kuwait and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, pointing out that the fraternal and historical ties between the Kuwaiti and Saudi peoples form a solid foundation for unity and solidarity in confronting challenges.

Al-Ali concluded his statement by offering sincere condolences and sympathies to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured, and praying to God Almighty to protect Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and all Gulf states, and to perpetuate upon them the blessings of security, safety, and stability.
