The Al-Isleh Social Association is organizing its second cultural forum on Tuesday, October 13, under the theme “Artificial Intelligence and the Information Revolution,” with the participation of Dr. Mishaari Al-Dailami and engineers Majid Al-Zubaidi and Mohammed Al-Ayoub. The event will take place at the association’s headquarters in Diwan Abdullah Al-Ali Al-Mutawa at 7:15 p.m.
Abdulrahman Al-Shatti, Director of the Public Relations and Media Department at the association, stated that the forum is part of the association’s efforts to enhance cultural and intellectual activity and to open space for informed discussion on rapid technological transformations and their impacts on individuals and society.
Al-Shatti explained that the rapid development of artificial intelligence and the information revolution offers opportunities to advance knowledge, work, and production, but simultaneously demands responsible understanding of its repercussions, ensuring that its potential is harnessed while preserving the role of humans and their values.
He added that cultural forums contribute to the exchange of expertise and bring specialized knowledge closer to the public, while also providing a platform to discuss contemporary issues related to society’s reality and future.
He clarified that the forum will examine the dimensions of digital transformation and the opportunities and questions it raises, thereby enriching dialogue and opening new horizons for participants and those interested in cultural and technical matters.
Al-Shatti emphasized the importance of continuing initiatives that raise awareness of technological changes, noting that keeping pace with these transformations goes beyond merely using their tools; it requires understanding their impacts and leveraging them in ways that serve humanity and society.
