Kuwait and Spanish Foreign Ministries Hold Sixth Round of Political Consultations

The Kuwaiti and Spanish ministries of foreign affairs held the sixth round of political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Spain in the Spanish capital, Madrid. Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Thursday that Deputy Foreign Affairs Ambassador Hamad Al-Mushaan led the Kuwaiti delegation, while Spanish State Minister for Foreign and Global Affairs Diego Martínez Peláez led the Spanish side. The statement explained that the consultations addressed a number of issues of mutual interest, alongside exploring ways to enhance and develop bilateral relations between the two friendly countries across various fields and to broaden their scope, as well as discussing the latest developments on the regional and international fronts. According to the statement, both sides emphasized the importance of continuing coordination and joint cooperation and exchanging views on various issues in a manner that serves the common interests of the two friendly countries.
