3 Years Since Al-Aqsa Flood: 74,000 Martyrs and 175,000 Injured

A wave of rejection and controversy has swept through the ranks of teachers and educators following the transfer decisions recently issued by the Ministry of Education. We all witnessed the scene in which dozens of teachers and educators gathered outside the Minister of Education’s office to protest those decisions. Yesterday, the Ministry issued a statement clarifying that it would accept appeals against the transfer decisions until tomorrow, Friday. We do not know the reason behind making fundamental decisions such as dismissing 7,000 expatriate teachers just before the start of the school year, and transferring teachers from one school to another at this time? Choosing the timing and clarifying the rationale are essential to putting an end to the controversy.
