Yemeni forces advance in Taiz... Battles continue on several fronts

The Yemeni army announced that it has taken control of new positions in the Haifan district, south of Taiz Governorate, as fighting continues on several fronts in the governorate. This comes a day after the Homeland Shield, Al-Ablagh, and Al-Teamiya forces seized the city of Al-Mukha following fierce clashes backed by air cover.
For his part, the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen announced that its naval forces carried out a military operation in Al-Hudaydah Governorate as part of its objectives to protect maritime navigation security in the Bab al-Mandab Strait. The coalition’s spokesperson, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, stated that a plot for imminent attacks targeting waterways in the southern Red Sea had been thwarted, confirming the destruction of weapons depots, warehouses of rigged boats, and naval mines.
Later, the coalition revealed the destruction of a ballistic missile launch platform in Sanaa, and a storage facility inside a mountainous site in Saada containing 20 ballistic missiles.
Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman said that a meeting of the “Political and Defense Strategy Committee” of the “Mecca Defense Pact” affirmed the solidarity and unified stance of its member states in confronting attacks on the Kingdom and the Holy Sites, and in activating collective deterrence against such attacks and those behind them within the framework of the pact.
The committee decided to immediately move to the practical implementation of joint defense commitments, and to take necessary measures to provide the agreed-upon forces and military capabilities and expedite their deployment in Saudi Arabia, in accordance with approved arrangements and the national legislations of the member states, thereby enhancing readiness, military integration, and collective capacity to confront and counter threats.
