Occupation Forces Steal Birzeit University Martyrs' Monument

A significant statement by Kuwait Petroleum Corporation CEO Sheikh Nawaf Al-Saud, as reported by Bloomberg, in which he said that Kuwait is currently pumping oil at about 75% of the level it reached before the outbreak of the war with Iran, and confirmed that Kuwait is currently producing around two million barrels per day, compared to about 2.6 million barrels before the war. Also important in his remarks was his emphasis that there is no alternative to the Strait of Hormuz; any pipeline being built or any storage facility cannot replace the vital importance of the Strait of Hormuz. This is a rational and measured statement that reflects an accurate understanding of reality and confirms that a military solution is not an option to end the crisis. There is no alternative to sitting at the negotiating table for direct talks and ending the conflict.
