The Ministry of Public Works announced yesterday that it is continuing to carry out major maintenance works on the Seventh Ring Road heading toward Fintas, as part of the Road Engineering Sector’s efforts to enhance road efficiency and improve infrastructure standards.
In a press release, the Ministry added that the major maintenance works on the Seventh Ring Road are being implemented in line with directives from Minister of Public Works Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan to intensify monitoring, follow-up, and on-site supervision, accelerate progress, and ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with approved quality standards and technical specifications.
The Ministry noted that the ongoing works include laying asphalt layers, and confirmed that specialized engineering teams are continuously monitoring the implementation stages of the major maintenance works on the ground, thereby contributing to improved road efficiency and higher maintenance standards.
On a separate note, the Ministry of Public Works announced the closure of Street 7 in Block 5 of the Surra area, effective from Sunday, October 4, 2026, through Tuesday, October 13, 2026, to carry out asphalt replacement works.
