A number of decrees were published today in the official gazette, “Kuwait Today,” revoking Kuwaiti citizenship from 415 individuals and their dependents who acquired citizenship through affiliation. According to the gazette, Decree No. 155 of 2026 stipulated the revocation of Kuwaiti citizenship from six individuals and their dependents. Decree No. 156 of 2026 provided for the revocation of citizenship from 286 individuals and their dependents, while Decree No. 157 of 2026 ordered the revocation of citizenship from 14 individuals and their dependents. Consequently, the three aforementioned decrees cover a total of 306 individuals, whereas the six published decrees collectively affect 415 individuals and their dependents who acquired citizenship through affiliation.
