Deputy Minister of Interior Major General Abdulwahab Ahmed Al-Wahayb held talks with Italian Director General of Public Security Vittorio Pisani on ways to enhance security cooperation and exchange expertise between the two sides, in the capital city of Rome, in the presence of Kuwait’s Ambassador to the Italian Republic, Nasser Al-Qahtani. The meeting discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in several security fields, foremost among them combating organized crime and illicit drug trafficking, addressing cybercrime and financial and economic crimes, and enhancing border security, alongside exchanging expertise in training and capacity-building and leveraging modern technologies and solutions to support security operations.
