KFAS Opens Applications for Kuwaiti Researchers' Fellowship Program

The Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) announced the opening of registration and applications for research fellowship grants reserved for outstanding Kuwaiti researchers, starting today, October 1, and running until November 30, 2026. This initiative aims to support national talent and develop the country’s scientific ecosystem.

The foundation explained that the program is based on two main tracks that address the academic and professional aspirations of researchers. The first track, “Research Training,” is designed to enable participants to gain practical experience and develop their skills in using advanced research techniques. The second track, “Postdoctoral Research,” allows researchers the opportunity to continue and conduct advanced and in-depth studies and research in their various fields of specialization.

KFAS noted that the implementation of programs in both tracks will be supervised by a select group of experts and specialized researchers from major accredited academic and research institutions, ensuring maximum scientific benefit and the transfer of international knowledge and expertise to the country.

The foundation invited researchers interested in benefiting from these grants to review the eligibility criteria and detailed application procedures on its official website.
