Al-Yousef: Strengthening Governance and Transparency and Developing Services to Elevate the Labor Market

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, as well as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Manpower, Sheikh Fahad Yousef Al-Saud Al-Sabah, emphasized the necessity of entrenching the principles of governance and transparency within the administrative and financial systems of the Authority. He stressed the priority of continuing to update work mechanisms to accelerate the achievement of strategic objectives, thereby ensuring the protection of the rights of all parties in the labor market and its regulation in accordance with the highest standards.

This came during his chairing of the Public Authority for Manpower’s Board of Directors meeting on Wednesday, with all board members in attendance. Sheikh Fahad Yousef Al-Sabah noted that the current stage requires doubling efforts to continue implementing development programs and enhancing the efficiency of services provided to citizens, employers, and workers alike, in line with the state’s broader directions toward improving the quality of government performance and digital transformation.

The meeting reviewed a number of items on the agenda, alongside monitoring the latest operational developments and future plans aimed at developing institutional performance, thereby contributing to supporting the laws and regulations governing the labor market in Kuwait and strengthening its stability.
