Environment Authority Files Transferred to Public Prosecution

State Minister for Development and Sustainability, Dr. Reem Al-Faleh, announced the referral of a case involving the loss of several important official documents and files related to the work of the Public Authority for Environmental Affairs to the Public Prosecution, following the conclusion of inspections and administrative investigations and in light of the recommendation issued by the competent investigation committee.

Al-Faleh stated that the referral stems from the Ministry’s responsibility to safeguard public funds and uphold the principles of integrity, transparency, and accountability. She clarified that, based on the facts and observations identified that required examination and verification by the relevant authorities, the necessary legal measures were taken and the matter was referred to the competent prosecution.
