Kuwait’s Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Al-Osaimi, held talks today, Monday, with Kim Jang-hyun, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Kuwait, to explore ways of enhancing cooperation between the two countries and developing areas of joint work.
In a statement relayed by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the Ministry of Islamic Affairs said the meeting addressed aspects of cooperation falling within the ministry’s purview, as well as opportunities for exchanging expertise and experiences in Islamic and cultural fields, and promoting the values of dialogue, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence.
It added that both sides also discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in awareness and community programs, and in promoting the moderate values of Islam, alongside developing communication channels and exchanging experiences and expertise.
The ministry noted that these topics would support areas of joint cooperation and strengthen relations between the State of Kuwait and the Republic of Korea.
