Insurance Regulatory Authority Orders Companies to Submit Data on National Workforce Within 90 Days

The Insurance Regulation Unit has mandated insurance companies under its supervision to submit data on the number and percentage of national workforce employed by them, within a period not exceeding 90 days from the end of each fiscal year, using the reporting form approved by the Unit. This directive was issued under Circular No. 20 of 2026 regarding the approval of the data form and percentages of national workforce in the insurance sector, based on the provisions of Law No. 125 of 2019 concerning the regulation of insurance and its executive regulations and amendments, as well as Decision No. 12 of 2025 regarding the conditions for jobs that must be registered.
According to the circular, all insurance companies under the supervision of the Unit are required to complete the approved form, which includes data on their national workforce percentage, in accordance with decisions issued by the Unit and relevant authorities, including the percentages specified in Decision No. 12 of 2025.
The Unit emphasized that the submitted data must reflect the actual status of the national workforce in each company as of December 31 of each year, with all required information completed according to specified instructions, and the form submitted within the stipulated deadline, which ends 90 days after the end of the fiscal year.
The Insurance Regulation Unit stressed the necessity for all companies to submit data within the specified deadlines, noting that the figures and percentages included in the forms must reflect the actual status of the national workforce on the designated date.
The Unit warned that failure to comply with the provisions of the circular may expose non-compliant companies to accountability under Law No. 125 of 2019, its executive regulations and amendments, as well as related legislation, with the possibility of taking necessary legal measures against non-compliant entities.
