The Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources announced the completion of the Information Systems Center’s electronic messaging system for all of the Authority’s correspondence, a move aimed at developing the institutional work environment, supporting the digital transformation process, and enhancing the governance of administrative procedures.
In a press statement, the Authority said the system enables the electronic exchange and management of correspondence among its various sectors and departments, contributing to reducing the time required to complete transactions and improving work efficiency, while also enhancing the accuracy of correspondence documentation, enabling tracking, and reducing reliance on paper-based transactions.
It clarified that the project’s implementation comes under the support and guidance of State Minister for Development and Sustainability Dr. Reem Al-Faleh, as part of a direction aimed at accelerating digital transformation in entities under her supervision, and developing work mechanisms in line with the principles of governance, transparency, and efficiency, thereby reflecting positively on institutional performance levels and strengthening oversight and accountability tools.
The Authority emphasized that the launch of the electronic messaging system represents a stage within a comprehensive plan to update digital systems and services, noting the continuation of efforts to develop and integrate systems to help streamline procedures, reduce documentation cycles, and improve the level of services provided to beneficiaries.
The Authority commended the efforts of the Information Systems Center and the sectors and departments that participated in implementing the project, affirming the continuation of work on digital transformation initiatives in alignment with the state’s direction toward developing government work, enhancing its efficiency, and strengthening its sustainability.
