Kuwait Gulf Oil Company Celebrates Saudi Arabia's 96th National Day
As part of its annual tradition, Kuwait Gulf Oil Company (KGOC) organized celebratory events to mark the 96th Saudi National Day on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at The Avenues Mall and the Nuwaisib land border crossing.
This annual initiative reflects the company’s commitment to celebrating this national occasion for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stemming from its strategic partnership with the Saudi side in the shared operating areas of Al-Wafra and Al-Khafji.
The company emphasized that these events underscore the depth of the historical ties and the solid bonds between the two brotherly nations, embodying the values of cooperation and complementarity that unite them, and demonstrating its eagerness to share in the joy of its brothers on this occasion, which is dear to everyone’s hearts.
The event at The Avenues Mall was attended by H.E. Sheikh Hamoud Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Governor of Al-Ahmadī Governorate. The program featured a diverse array of traditional segments, competitions, and gift distributions, drawing enthusiastic participation from mall visitors.
The celebrations also included an event at the Nuwaisib land border crossing, where visitors from Kuwait arriving from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were welcomed with greetings and congratulations, and offered gifts and hospitality, in an atmosphere that reflected the sentiments of brotherhood and affection between the two brotherly nations.
For his part, Mashal Al-Hindi, Manager of the Information Technology and Services Group at Kuwait Gulf Oil Company, affirmed that the company’s celebration of the 96th Saudi National Day is a manifestation of the deep, brotherly, and historical ties that bind Kuwait and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, characterized by strong bonds at all levels.
Al-Hindi stated during the celebration that the company’s participation in this national occasion, which is dear to the hearts of both Kuwaitis and Saudis, reflects KGOC’s commitment to enhancing community engagement and highlighting the strength of relations between the two brotherly nations, particularly given their shared history, interests, and strategic ties.
Al-Hindi noted that Kuwaiti-Saudi relations represent a distinguished model of brotherly relations among Gulf states, emphasizing that cooperation between the two countries spans various fields, foremost among them the oil sector, which constitutes one of the most prominent areas of strategic cooperation between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
He pointed out that Kuwait Gulf Oil Company takes pride in its role in enhancing shared oil cooperation and working to develop operations and resources in the Neutral Zone, reflecting the depth of the strategic partnership between the two countries and serving their common interests.
