An employee of the Ministry of Interior assigned to the Department of Minor Affairs to expedite the processing of cases for those under guardianship

The General Authority for Guardianship Affairs and the Ministry of Interior discussed today ways to enhance cooperation and facilitate the processing of transactions for individuals under the authority’s care, as part of efforts to improve the quality of services provided to them and streamline related procedures.

The meeting was chaired by Alia Al-Saqar, Acting Director General of the General Authority for Guardianship Affairs, in the presence of Manar Al-Sabai, Deputy Director General for Care and Development of Minors’ Assets. Representing the Ministry of Interior were Colonel Khalid Al-Adwani, Assistant Director General of the General Traffic Department for Licensing Affairs; Colonel Mishaal Al-Mutairi; Major Ali Al-Haddad; Lieutenant Colonel Awaz Al-Azami; and First Lieutenant Badr Sadiq.

The meeting discussed the mechanism for having a Ministry of Interior employee stationed at the authority’s main building during official working hours, with the aim of providing services and completing transactions directly for those under care.

According to discussions held during the meeting, this step is expected to simplify procedures for visitors, save time and effort, and enhance the quality of services provided, thereby meeting the needs of those under the authority’s care with efficiency and effectiveness.

The meeting comes within the framework of the General Authority for Guardianship Affairs’ commitment to developing operational mechanisms and strengthening coordination with government entities, contributing to elevating the services provided to those under its care.
