"Food Authority": Violations included employing workers without health certificates and operating a facility without a license

An inspection tour conducted by the Hawally Governorate Inspection Department of the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition resulted in the issuance of seven violation reports, in addition to the destruction of 166 kilograms of meat unfit for human consumption.

The Authority explained that the violations detected included operating without a health certificate, opening a facility without a health license, failure to comply with general health requirements, and the circulation of adulterated food products.

The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition affirmed its commitment to continuing its inspection tours and regulatory campaigns on food establishments, as part of its efforts to ensure food safety and protect consumer health.
