Dr. Khalid Al-Ajmi: Personal interviews begin to select 90 financial and administrative auditors in the Cooperation Sector.

Dr. Khalid Al-Ajmi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs, confirmed that the ministry began today the personal interviews for candidates applying for supervisory positions in the cooperative sector. One hundred candidates participated on the first day, out of a total of 250 candidates who will be interviewed over three days, in preparation for selecting the highest-scoring national talents based on the combined results of the written exam and the personal interview for the available supervisory positions.

Al-Ajmi explained that the first-day candidates include 55 applicants for the Financial Inspector position and 45 applicants for the Administrative Inspector position. He noted that the selection process follows specific regulations and criteria that ensure equal opportunity and merit-based evaluation among candidates, in line with the objective of opening these positions, which is to attract national talents capable of assuming financial and administrative supervisory responsibilities within the cooperative sector.

He stated that the Ministry of Social Affairs is implementing a clear and well-considered policy to place national talents in supervisory roles within the cooperative sector, in accordance with the directives of the political leadership, Cabinet decisions, and the instructions of Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood Affairs, Dr. Umthul Al-Huwailef. He emphasized that the goal is not merely to fill the positions, but to select qualified national talents capable of performing their duties with efficiency and excellence.

Al-Ajmi added that empowering national cadres in supervisory roles is a key component of the ministry’s strategy to strengthen the presence of citizens in positions directly related to oversight, monitoring, and the protection of public funds, as well as to enhance discipline and efficiency in cooperative operations. He noted that the ministry views national talents as a fundamental pillar in developing the work system and improving performance levels within the cooperative sector.

Al-Ajmi clarified that the current selection procedures are based on transparency, impartiality, and equal opportunity, with all candidates subject to uniform criteria to ensure that the most deserving individuals are selected based on final results. In the event of a tie in scores, a public lottery will be conducted. He affirmed that the ministry is committed to ensuring that every stage of the selection process is clear, organized, and grounded in transparency and impartiality.

Al-Ajmi concluded by reaffirming that the Ministry of Social Affairs will continue to create more opportunities for qualified national talents and complete the steps to place them in the targeted positions within the cooperative sector, thereby contributing to building a specialized national workforce capable of shouldering its responsibilities and enhancing the efficiency of supervisory and administrative operations in cooperatives.
