Mubarak Fahad Al-Jaber: Arabic content faces new generations and evolving platforms

Sheikh Mubarak Fahad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Director General of the Joint Program Production Organization of the Cooperation Council for the Arab Gulf States (GCC), affirmed that the rapid transformations in the media industry necessitate the development of content production tools and delivery methods. This evolution must align with the consumption patterns of new generations while preserving Arab culture and identity.
Speaking during his participation in the 26th Arab Radio and Television Festival in Tunisia, Sheikh Mubarak Fahad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah stated that the organization’s presence at Arab media forums stems from the importance of exchanging expertise, discussing the future of the content industry, and exploring opportunities to expand cooperation among Arab media institutions.
He explained that the proliferation of platforms and shifting audience behaviors demand a deeper understanding of recipient needs and the continuous development of content creation methods. He noted that leveraging modern technologies and new narrative techniques can contribute to producing more engaging Arab content with greater reach and impact.
He emphasized that keeping pace with media development does not conflict with preserving authenticity; rather, it enables the utilization of modern tools to deliver content that reflects Arab culture, values, and identity, while remaining competitive in the rapidly evolving media landscape.
He pointed out that the festival, organized by the Union of Arab Broadcasting Organizations under the slogan “The Pulse of the Image and the Echo of the Future,” serves as a platform bringing together media and content professionals to discuss the industry’s transformations and anticipate its future trajectories. He affirmed that the integration of Arab efforts is a crucial factor in producing content that meets future requirements without compromising its identity.
On the sidelines of the event, Sheikh Mubarak Fahad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah held meetings with several participating officials and media figures, discussing areas of mutual cooperation and ways to enhance Arab media work.
