Minister of the Diwan Amiri Affairs and Head of the Diwan of His Highness the Crown Prince Receive the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia

His Excellency Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Minister of Diwan Amiri Affairs, and His Excellency Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Head of the Diwan of the Crown Prince, received His Excellency Dr. Arsen Arakelyan, Ambassador of the Friendly Republic of Armenia to the State of Kuwait.

During the meeting, the distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries and their friendly peoples were reviewed, and ways to support and strengthen these ties were discussed. Both sides reaffirmed their mutual commitment to developing cooperation in various fields in the interest of their shared objectives.

The two sides also exchanged views on developments in the region and discussed the latest updates on both the regional and international fronts.

His Excellency the Ambassador outlined the preparations underway for Armenia’s hosting of the Leaders’ Summit under the framework of the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17), scheduled to take place in the capital Yerevan next October.

Mr. Sami Sulaiman Al-Mulla, Director of the Office of the Minister of Diwan Amiri Affairs, attended the meeting.
