Riyadh Road Closed Between Third and Fourth Ring Roads Toward Airport Early Friday

The Ministry of Public Works, in cooperation with the General Directorate of Traffic, will begin paving the final asphalt layer on Riyadh Road (50) at dawn on Friday, necessitating the closure of the direction leading to the airport within the sector extending between the Third Ring Road and the Fourth Ring Road. The closure will cover the intersection of Riyadh Road with the Third Ring Road up to its junction with the Fourth Ring Road and King Faisal Street, as well as a portion of the traffic signal and U-turn lane designated for vehicles coming from the airport direction, along with the entrances and exits of the Khalidiya area. The work will continue until dawn on Sunday, September 27, after which traffic will return to its normal flow. Relevant authorities have urged road users to take the closure period into account, choose alternative routes, and comply with traffic directions in the area during the execution of the works.
