Food Authority: Seizure of unfit food items and unlicensed facilities in Jahra

The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition (PAFAN) identified a number of violations during inspection campaigns carried out by the Al-Jahra Governorate Inspection Department at various warehouses and food factories, as part of its efforts to strengthen oversight of establishments and ensure compliance with approved health requirements. The violations observed by the inspection teams included the display and marketing of food products unfit for human consumption, operating and managing a food establishment without obtaining the necessary license from the Authority, as well as other infractions related to non-compliance with health regulations and standards. The Authority reaffirmed its commitment to continuing periodic supervisory campaigns across all food establishments and taking legal action against violators in accordance with applicable regulations, thereby enhancing oversight of food circulation and safeguarding the health and safety of consumers.
