Deputy Emir and Prime Minister, representing His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, heads to the United States

By the grace and protection of God, the representative of His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of the Country, may God protect and guard him, departed the country this morning. Accompanying His Highness was the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, may God protect him, along with the official delegation heading to the friendly United States of America, to lead the State of Kuwait’s delegation participating in the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, to be held in New York City.

His Highness was seen off at the airport by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister; His Excellency Sheikh Mubarak Hamoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Commander of the National Guard; His Excellency Sheikh Fahad Yousef Al-Saud Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; His Excellency Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Minister of Diwan Amiri Affairs; His Excellency Shari’ah Abdullah Al-Muwasharji, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs; His Excellency Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Head of the Crown Prince’s Diwan; His Excellency Engineer Sheikh Hamoud Mubarak Al-Hamoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Chairman of the Public Authority for Civil Aviation; and other senior officials.

Accompanying His Highness is an official delegation comprising His Excellency Sheikh Jaraah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs; His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority; and other senior officials. May God grant him safety in all his journeys.
