75 Traffic Violations and 175 Vehicles Impounded in Campaign on 'Sana'iya Al-Fahaheel'

The General Directorate of Traffic, represented by the Technical Inspection Department, conducted an extensive supervisory campaign in the industrial area of Fahaheel, targeting garages, workshops, facilities, and vehicles. The operation resulted in recording 75 diverse traffic violations and impounding 175 vehicles through administrative procedures.
The campaign, carried out in coordination with several government entities, included supervisory measures to ensure that facilities comply with applicable regulations and laws, alongside vehicle inspections to verify adherence to technical requirements and safety and durability standards.
Colonel Fahd Al-Eissa, Director of the Traffic Awareness Department, stated that field teams took legal action against violators according to their respective jurisdictions. He noted that the campaign also led to the issuance of five violation reports by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
He added that inspectors from the General Fire Department closed 16 facilities and issued two closure warnings, while the Public Authority for Environment recorded one violation. The Public Authority for Manpower issued five violations.
The General Directorate of Traffic affirmed the continuation of joint inspection campaigns aimed at raising compliance with regulatory requirements and enhancing road safety, particularly in areas containing garages, workshops, and vehicle-related facilities.
