Full closure of King Fahd Road from the First Ring Road intersection

The Ministry of Public Works and the General Traffic Department announced a full closure of King Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Road (Al-Maghrib Road), starting from the intersection with First Sabah Road (First Ring Road) for a distance of 300 meters, to carry out asphalt maintenance work. The closure began on the day before yesterday and will continue until Sunday, September 20. The General Traffic Department clarified that the closure extends from the First Ring Road intersection to the intersection with Khalid Yusuf Al-Marzouq Street (Second Ring Road) for traffic coming from Kuwait City toward Al-Ahmadi, while the slip road at the first intersection remains open for traffic coming from the First Ring Road (Sheraton Roundabout) toward King Fahd Road. Authorities urged drivers to comply with traffic officers’ instructions and use alternative routes during the closure period.
