"Social Reform" Condemns Houthi's Disgraceful Attacks and Declares Full Solidarity with Saudi Arabia
The Social Reform Society expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the disgraceful Houthi attacks targeting the security and stability of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It affirmed that these attacks constitute a dangerous escalation that threatens regional security and the safety of civilians, thereby exacerbating tensions and instability.
Hamad Al-Ali, the Secretary-General of the Society, emphasized that targeting cities, populated areas, and civilian infrastructure, and endangering the lives of civilians, constitutes a violation of legitimate, humanitarian, and ethical values. He stressed that terrorizing the safe and targeting civilians cannot be justified under any pretext, and that the peoples of the region deserve to live in security and stability, free from missiles, threats, and the risks of escalation. He underscored that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, and that anything affecting its security and stability affects the security of the Gulf, its peoples, and the stability of the region.
Al-Ali expressed his profound condemnation of any attempt to harm Makkah Al-Mukarramah or endanger the security and safety of its visitors. He affirmed that the Islamic sanctities possess their inviolability and a distinguished status among Muslims, and that protecting the Two Holy Mosques and ensuring the safety of the guests of Allah is a responsibility that holds a firm place in the hearts of Muslims, especially since the security of the Two Holy Mosques and the safety of their visitors admit no tampering or negligence.
Al-Ali stressed that the position of the Social Reform Society stems from Kuwait’s steadfast commitment to supporting the security of GCC states, strengthening Arab and Islamic solidarity, rejecting violence and the targeting of civilians, and calling for peace, stability, and the preservation of lives. He called upon the international community and concerned states to assume their responsibilities in protecting civilians and civilian infrastructure, and to work toward halting the escalation and preventing further tension in the region.
Al-Ali affirmed the Society’s solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its leadership, government, and people. He invoked God’s protection over the Kingdom and its people, the Gulf states and their peoples, and prayed for the continued blessing of security and stability, as well as the protection of the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors.
