Al-Wasmi confirms continued development of the work system at the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (Bayt al-Zakat) and strengthening its charitable and humanitarian role

Kuwait’s Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Al-Osaimi, affirmed the continued development of the operational framework of the Kuwaiti Dar Al-Mal (House of Zakat) and the enhancement of its role in zakat, charitable, and humanitarian work, as well as elevating the standards of humanitarian efforts urged by the noble religion.
In a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Dar Al-Mal said this came during Minister Al-Osaimi’s chairing of the board of directors meeting of the Kuwaiti Dar Al-Mal, attended by board members to monitor the institution’s activities and strengthen its role in serving the obligation of zakat and consolidating the principles of social solidarity.
According to the statement, Minister Al-Osaimi emphasized the importance of continuing to develop charitable work in a manner that meets the aspirations of Kuwaiti society and enhances the distinguished status enjoyed by the State of Kuwait in the field of charitable and humanitarian work.
He added that the board reviewed several agenda items and discussed matters related to institutional development and improving the level of services provided to donors and beneficiaries, thereby contributing to enhanced performance efficiency and achieving the objectives for which Dar Al-Mal was established.
