Al Safa Humanitarian concludes “With Your Gifts We Save Them 25” and “Your Gift Is Healing 4” with 300 surgeries
The Al-Safa Humanitarian and Charitable Association concluded its two humanitarian missions, “Your Giving Saves Them 25” and “Your Giving is Healing 4,” after two weeks of continuous field medical and humanitarian work in several Turkish cities, with the participation of a medical delegation from the State of Kuwait, as part of the association’s ongoing efforts to provide healthcare and humanitarian aid to Syrian families, refugees, and those in need.
Mohammed Al-Shaie, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Safa Humanitarian and Charitable Association, stated that the missions saw approximately 300 surgeries performed for needy patients, alongside the provision of medical examinations, pharmaceutical treatments, and various health services. He emphasized that the medical aspect represents one of the important pathways that the association prioritizes, given its direct and tangible impact on the lives of patients and their families.
Al-Shaie added that the missions “Your Giving Saves Them 25” and “Your Giving is Healing 4” simultaneously continued their humanitarian mission by assessing the needs of modest and Syrian refugee families through sponsoring families, widows, and orphans; distributing food baskets; and providing empowerment tools such as tuk-tuks and sewing machines, in addition to clothing, school bags, and numerous other humanitarian aids.
He affirmed that Al-Safa Humanitarian does not view these missions merely as providing immediate assistance, but rather seeks to create a real impact in people’s lives, whether by restoring health to a patient, relieving a family’s hardship, or empowering a needy person to overcome difficult circumstances, in line with its humanitarian and developmental mission.
Concluding his remarks, Al-Shaie said: “These missions reflect the bright humanitarian face of Kuwait and its people, and confirm that the goodness of Kuwaitis never ceases, and that their generosity will, God willing, continue to reach those in need wherever they are.”
Al-Shaie extended his thanks and appreciation to the medical delegation participating in “Your Giving is Healing 4,” commending the efforts of doctors and volunteers and what they accomplished during two weeks of continuous work. He also expressed gratitude to the benefactors and supporters of the association’s projects, affirming that the achievements realized were, by God’s grace, thanks to their generosity and trust.
