Minister of Education Inspects Several Schools Coinciding with the Return of Elementary, Middle, and Secondary School Students
Coinciding with the launch of the new academic year 2026/2027 and the resumption of student attendance, and in line with the Ministry of Education’s commitment to monitoring the readiness of the educational field and ensuring the smooth progress of the educational process from its first day, His Excellency Minister of Education, Engineer Sayed Jalal Al-Tabatabai, conducted an inspection tour of several schools in the Capital Educational Area. The visit aimed to assess on-the-ground readiness and operational continuity, as well as to observe the educational atmosphere at the start of the academic year.
During the tour, His Excellency the Minister reviewed the progress of the educational process, listened to feedback from members of the teaching and administrative staff and students, and monitored the readiness of classrooms and educational and service facilities. He emphasized the importance of providing a safe, stable, and motivating educational environment that meets students’ needs and supports a positive, well-organized start to the academic year from day one.
In a press statement, His Excellency Minister of Education, Engineer Sayed Jalal Al-Tabatabai, congratulated members of the teaching and administrative staff, as well as male and female students, on the commencement of the new academic year. He expressed his appreciation for all school staff for their sincere efforts in serving the educational process, and wished everyone a year filled with contribution and achievement, and students excellence and success.
His Excellency the Minister stated that “returning to schools is not merely the beginning of a new academic year, but the start of a new phase of work, responsibility, and achievement. The Ministry of Education is present in the field alongside its teaching and administrative cadres, and will spare no effort in providing everything necessary to support schools and enable their staff to fulfill their mission in the best possible manner.”
Al-Tabatabai noted that the Ministry continues its field monitoring of various schools and kindergartens, emphasizing that readiness, stability, and the quality of the educational environment are fundamental priorities during the current phase. He added that observations and needs identified in the field will be addressed according to established priorities, contributing to providing the best educational and administrative conditions for students and staff.
He pointed out that the launch of the academic year represents an important milestone for completing the efforts undertaken by various ministry sectors in recent periods, and called on school administrations and members of the teaching and administrative staff to continue working with a spirit of teamwork, enhancing cooperation and coordination to ensure organized, safe, and motivating learning environments.
Addressing students on the occasion of the new academic year, His Excellency the Minister sent a message, saying: “My dear students, this is a new academic year that brings new opportunities for learning, success, and achieving aspirations. I urge you to be diligent and hardworking, and to make the most of all the resources available in your schools. Let this year be a new station for excellence and building your future. We are confident in your capabilities and aspirations, and look forward to seeing more achievements and successes from you, and that you will always be a source of pride for your families, schools, and country.”
His Excellency the Minister emphasized that the success of the academic year is a shared responsibility, integrating the efforts of the Ministry, school administrations, teaching and administrative staff, families, and students. He stressed that the best interests of students will remain at the forefront of the Ministry’s priorities, commended the efforts of educational cadres in the field, and expressed his confidence in their ability to continue their work and contributions.
He concluded by affirming that the Ministry looks forward to an academic year characterized by work, achievement, and development, reflecting the aspirations of the State of Kuwait to elevate the education system and provide a supportive and motivating educational environment for our students, thereby contributing to achieving the goals of the educational process and building a generation capable of continuing the path of development.
