The 33rd edition of the Arabian Travel Market 2026 kicked off yesterday at the Dubai World Trade Centre, with Kuwait participating through a delegation led by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information, Dr. Nasser Muhaisen, via a unified pavilion bearing the “Visit Kuwait” tourism brand.

The pavilion brings together the Ministry of Information, represented by its Tourism Affairs Department, alongside Kuwait Airways and the Kuwait Hotel Owners Association, as part of efforts to strengthen Kuwait’s presence as a tourism destination in regional and international markets.

The Kuwaiti participation aims to showcase the country’s tourism assets, landmarks, and experiences, while opening channels for cooperation and building partnerships with entities, institutions, and companies operating in the travel, tourism, and hospitality sectors.

The pavilion allows visitors, specialists, and tourism sector representatives to explore the components of Kuwait’s tourism product, serving as a unified platform for promoting the Kuwaiti destination under the “Visit Kuwait” umbrella.

Attending the launch of the exhibition were Khalid Al-Zubaidi, Kuwait’s Consul General in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, along with several consular staff members, in support of Kuwait’s participation in the event, which runs until September 17.

This year’s edition is held under the theme “Travel in 2040: Exploring New Horizons through Innovation and Technology,” with broad participation from tourism destinations and bodies, airlines, the hospitality sector, technology companies, buyers, and industry specialists.

The exhibition focuses on transformations reshaping the global travel and tourism sector, foremost among them artificial intelligence and digital transformation, evolving traveler expectations, smart mobility, destination resilience, and sustainable growth, providing a platform for exchanging expertise, building partnerships, and exploring future opportunities in the industry.
